NJHEPS & the University of Pavia November 19, 2008
In a meeting on 19 November in New York City with Dr. Giovanni Petrecca, Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering in the University of Pavia in Italy, Mr. Cusack agreed with Dr. Petrecca to pursue cooperation on sustainability issues such as energy efficiency and energy management between NJHEPS and the University of Pavia.
“Sustainable Food in Higher Education” November 10, 2008
At the national convention of the Association for the Advancement of Sustainability in Higher Education (AASHE), Mr. Cusack was asked to moderate a panel on “Sustainable Food in Higher Education” on 10 November. The AASHE conference attracted nearly 2,000 attendees to Raleigh North Carolina during its three days, more than triple its previous national higher education sustainability conference held two years prior to this event.

Mr. Cusack gave a presentation on “the Business Case for Sustainability in Higher Education: Helping Your Campus Learn How to Be Successful in the 21st Century” to the campus sustainability committee at Seton Hall University in West Orange New Jersey on 3 November.
